Collaboration

We collaborate globally.

We build and test human-relevant systems for osteoarthritis, exposure biology, and regenerative repair. We actively share models and ideas with aligned partners in orthopedics, toxicology, stem cell biology, organoid engineering, and gene/cell therapy translation.

If you are running clinical work, running a biomechanics lab, doing exposure studies, or you’re a regenerative engineer with a high-value hypothesis — we want to hear it.

Access to the secure Portal requires institutional affiliation, ORCID validation, and agreement to confidentiality / data ethics.

Before you reach out

Good first emails include:

  • Your field / role (ex: “orthopedic surgeon”, “exposure toxicology”, “stem cell engineer”)
  • The idea or question you want to test
  • What resource you’re asking for: organoid model, exposure assay, dataset, delivery design help, etc.
  • Time frame / urgency (grant deadline, IRB planning, preclinical milestone)

Your info is handled confidentially. If needed, we’ll formalize NDA / CDA, then move into data sharing or protocol review.

What we work on

Active collaboration tracks

These are the real workstreams we’re pursuing. If you fit into one, it’s a strong signal we should talk right now.

Osteoarthritis & Focal Joint Repair

Early joint erosion, focal cartilage resurfacing, and slowing progression before total joint replacement. We want real-world surgical input.

Seeking: orthopedic partners, outcomes tracking, intraoperative sampling, pre-surgical imaging correlation.

Environmental Exposure Biology

Pollution and mechanical overload accelerate joint inflammation. We map exposure → damage signatures that could forecast early OA risk.

Seeking: exposure toxicology labs, biomechanics data, occupational cohorts, epidemiology partners.

Stem Cells & Human Joint Organoids

We grow 3D "mini-joint" systems that mimic cartilage, synovium, inflammatory microenvironments, and mechanical stress.

Seeking: partners who want to screen compounds, delivery methods, or regenerative factors in a human-relevant model.

Gene & Cell Therapy Delivery

Can we target degeneration sites with cell-based, repair-focused payloads — and track safety in a way regulators will accept?

Seeking: delivery engineers, translational/regulatory strategists, GMP manufacturing partners.
We prioritize collaborations where both sides get something real: data, validation, or a path to patients. If we're not a fit, we’ll tell you quickly so you don’t waste time.
SECURE PORTAL
Pre-publication data, assay settings, stressor timelines, and draft delivery concepts are shared in a private, access-controlled area.

ORCID identity and NDA are required to view or reuse this material.
Access & Ethics

How collaboration works in practice

We take translational work seriously. That means controlled access, accurate attribution, and very clear boundaries around anything that could be interpreted as patient treatment.

You get access to specific models / assays under NDA. We'll say exactly what you can use them for.
You agree not to present or pitch our unpublished work as your own. ORCID identity keeps authorship honest.
Nothing here is medical advice. We do not provide treatment guidance and will not co-sign off-label use.
